Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library
Important Announcement regarding the Dolly Parton Imagination Library Program
We know this program has had a positive impact on children and parents in our community. That's why it is with a heavy heart we're announcing an indefinite pause on the DPIL program due to budget constraints. We are no longer accepting registrations and if your child is already enrolled in the program in the 30310 or 30315 area codes, they will no longer receive a book each month.
We share your sadness in halting this program, as we deeply understand the joy and growth that comes from reading. Please know that if we can secure funding in the future, we will enthusiastically revisit the possibility of restarting this program. Thank you for your understanding and support during this challenging time.
The Mayor’s Summer Reading Club
The Mayor’s Summer Reading Club, an initiative of the Georgia Early Education Alliance for Ready Students (GEEARS), is a program for children ages birth to five and their families that takes place in various locations throughout the city of Atlanta each summer.
As an annual partner of the Reading Club, The Wren’s Nest hosts free enrichment programs and book giveaways each summer to inspire a lifelong love of reading.
Keep an eye on our Calendar page for upcoming Reading Club programs.
DID YOU KNOW: Our campus has an official Little Free Library, too! Stop by to take a book and share a book. Learn more.
