Celebrate the Holidays with The Wren's Nest

'Tis the Season!

It's that time of the year when we all celebrate the holidays with festive food, decorations, and merriment. Unfortunately, it's also the time of year when birthdays are often overlooked, shadowed by the holiday celebrations. At the Wren’s Nest, we like to make sure people like Joel Chandler Harris don’t have their December birthdays forgotten.

In honor of Harris's birthday and the season, we have two weekends of opportunity to celebrate! However, the safety of our guests is always our first priority. Read on to find out which celebration(s) might work best for you this year.

Holiday Open House

Sunday, Dec. 6th from 1-3 PM

FREE Open House

Join us for our Annual Holiday Open House, a tradition that's over 100 years old.

We will have a fire pit in our spacious backyard, where visitors can stop by and see the beautiful work that's been completed while we were closed.

Self-guided tours of the decorated house will also be available. Masks will be required for anyone in the house. A docent will ensure spaced entries for tours to keep visitors safely distanced from each other and staff.

Special pre-packaged treats will be available for visitors to enjoy in the yard or at home.
